Anne consults on Tuesdays to Thursdays and offers sessions in person or via telehealth. The consulting room is a calm and peaceful space in Hawthorn. Telehealth sessions are available by video or phone.

Eating Disorders

Anne has over a decade of experience in eating disorder assessment, treatment, research and service evaluation. She has worked with people across the lifespan from children and their families to older adults experiencing a range of eating disorders and related concerns including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, other specified feeding and eating disorder (i.e. atypical anorexia nervosa, purging disorder, subthreshold bulimia nervosa and subthreshold binge eating disorder), disordered eating, and body image concerns.

Anne is experienced in delivering a range of evidence based treatment modalities for eating disorders including:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders

  • Maudsley Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults

  • Specialist Supportive Clinical Management

  • Interpersonal Psychotherapy

  • Family Based Treatment for Anorexia Nervosa

Anne has also conducted research in eating disorder aetiology, maintenance, prevention, treatment and service evaluation. She has co-authored two book chapters and numerous peer-reviewed publications in the field of eating disorders, and has presented at national and international conferences.

Anne is interested in working with adults experiencing a wide range of disorders and concerns and currently devotes half of her appointments to clients with eating disorders. She is particularly passionate about helping adults experiencing non-underweight eating disorders and binge eating and does not provide treatment for anorexia nervosa.
